This guitar and amp are indirectly related to the Ventures. Chet Atkins played a Country Gentleman through a Standel 25L15 when he recorded his version of Johnny Smith's "Walk Don't Run". The Country Gentleman Chet used would have been a single cutaway model with a deeper body. His Standel amp was nearly identical to the one pictured.
