In the '60's, there was no legitimate distribution of western world albums in China but many rock LPs were pirated and sold on the underground market. One can find pirated Ventures LPs from '60's China that were pressed in colored vinyl and had paper-thin Xerox copy covers. In this age of East / West free trade, Ventures albums are now legitimately available in China. Here's a Ventures CD from China on the EMI label.
